Maryanne Lewis – President and CEO
With more than 25 years of experience in the foodservice business, Maryanne’s expertise spans all facets of the industry. She has overseen the strategic supply chain activities for a multi-concept restaurant company as well as lead initiatives and teams in both operations and training. Her breadth of experience includes management and executive positions with Rock Bottom Restaurants Inc., VICORP Inc., CA1 Services, and Sky Chefs Inc. She is currently a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Women’s Foodservice Forum, and sits on the advisory boards of several SpenDifference clients.
Susan Waldman – Vice President of Distribution
Susan’s a veteran of the foodservice industry with more than 18 years experience. Passionate about distribution and logistics, she has worked in management positions for numerous distributors and chains. Her varied experience includes negotiating distributor agreements, vendor liability management, purchasing and inventory management, and the integration of technology into the supply chain. Susan’s held director and management positions with The Sygma Network, Leprino Foods, and Rock Bottom Restaurants. She is a member of the Executive Women’s Summit, Freight & Logistics Professionals, Logistics and Supply Chain Networking Group.
Karl Weinner – Vice President of Finance
Karl’s breadth of experience has provided the support needed to build the financial underpinnings for SpenDifference. His expertise includes budget development and management, overseeing accounting operations, analysis, and most importantly strategic planning. Prior to joining SpenDifference Karl most recently held director roles with Quiznos in Denver, Colorado and Our Children’s Homestead in Illinois. Karl holds his MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago.
Brad Moore – Vice President of Client Services
Brad has over 25 years in the food industry working in both foodservice and the retail arenas. His experience has largely been with food manufacturers where he held brand management, sales and strategy positions prior to gaining general management responsibilities. Prior to joining SpenDifference, he was responsible for Arden Kitchen’s, the Foodservice Division of Foster Farms and held senior positions with Kraft Foods. Brad pursued his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Michael Boyer – Vice President of Purchasing
Mike’s foodservice purchasing experience covers more than 25 years. He has held senior purchasing positions with a number of foodservice organizations where he was responsible for more than $1B in spend. An accomplished leader, Mike has knowledge both in building purchasing departments from start up phase to managing the complexity of large, mature organizations. He’s held director and executive roles with Foodbuy, Sodexho, Burger King, and Bojangles. Mike is a member of ARA Commodity Buyers and Suppliers.
